A day in the life.

The worst thing that happened to me with the weather was in November of 2007. Usually it is one of the most scorching and sunny months of the year, that kind of weather is typical in Rosario, but one day of that month was different from other November days.

You might wonder why that day was so different from the others days. Well, that afternoon, I had arrived home from University, when suddenly the sky got dark. A lot of grey clouds appeared very quicky from nowhere. I didn't give that too much importance, because I thought that it must have started to rain.

But, I was wrong, because surprisingly, lightning and thunders started to apper in the sky. The scene seemed like a great gig in the sky or a huge symphony which was playing in the air.
And suddenly, it started to rain. At the beginning it was a normal and typical rain, but time after that, huge ice boulders started to fall, it was hail. The hail size wwas similar to that of a big apple or an orange.

Afterwards, all the windows of my house started to break down, so immediately I went to the garage to open the great gate that we have in this place. The idea was that we had to try of save the windows, because to repair all the damage would be so expensive. So hail was a terrible problem.

However, the main trouble was when I was beside the gate, because ice boulders were hitting me in my legs and knees. While I was standing there feeling the pain in my legs, my little sister laughed at me as if I was a crazy clown dancing under the rain. I saw her and I couldn’t believe the situation, so fortunately I could save my legs and left this place.

So, in conclusion, my legs ended up bleeding, but the gate and the window were saved. Still my sister is laughing.

"Crying In The Rain" (A-HA)

"Crying In The Rain" (A-HA)
I'll never let you see
The way my broken heart is hurting me
I've got my pride and I know how to hide
All my sorrow and pain
I'll do my crying in the rain
If I wait for stormy skies
You won't know the rain from the tears in my eyes
You'll never know that I still love you so
Though the heartaches remain
I'll do my crying in the rain
Raindrops falling from heaven
Could never take away my misery
But since we're not together
I pray for stormy weather
To hide these tears I hope you'll never see
Someday when my crying's done
I'm gonna wear a smile and walk in the sun
I may be a fool
But till then, darling, you'll never see me complain
I'll do my crying in the rain

Weather in Rosario

Last year was unbelievable. It was a typical winter day and suddenly it was snowing in Buenos Aires. All was covered with white soft snow but it was an unusual weather because it had never snowed there before and the snow melted quickly.
People were playing with snow and children were spending a great time having fun all day long.
The main problem was that people didn’t seem to understand the consequences of melting snow. The streets were iced and slippery and there were a lot of accidents. It was really dangerous!

Let’s talk about August...

August is usually a cold month, but the weather has been changing the last years.
This particular year, in Rosario, August had the chilliest day in the whole year which made us all shiver. But at the same time, it had the most scorching day too! Such was the heat and the dampness that we were sick and tired and we didn’t know what to do to spend the time. The same thing happened with the intense cold. So I think that shivering and sweating can be felt at the same time, or at least, in the same month.
Some years ago, the weather in Rosario was more settled and predictable. But nowadays, it has become very changeable. So we have to be prepared. Different kinds of clothes have to be hanged in our closets.
If the Global Warming still increases, summers will become increasingly unbearably and will be the coldest winters of all times. Hailstorms, heatwaves, floods and drought s will be suffered by the whole world.
It is said that some regions of Europe and The United States, will be the most affected by the G.W. Cities of the Mediterranean like Greece and Rome, will disappear under water. The Amazon will be killed by the drought and the list of tragedies goes on.
It is believed that all this kind of things will happen if the soil temperature reaches three degrees centigrade.
